Wolves With an Absolute DUD

Welp that was fast. Wolves lose by TBD. Probably 20+. At no point were the Wolves in this game, minus a short spurt at the end of the 2nd quarter. Everything was flat and lethargic. The amount of lazy passes was astonishing. The lack of energy was demoralizing. Which is why this blog is being posted now.

If I had to choose one reason why the Wolves got their asses kicked I would point to points in the point. Spurs had 28 points in the 1Q in the paint. At the time I am writing this (2 minutes left in the 3rd) they have 56! 24 of them coming on fastbreak points.

There were some positives though. The Wolves did fight back briefly. KAT, Nowell, and ANT were putting in some solid work at the end of the 2nd quarter. KAT had some nice assists when his shot wasn’t falling too. Something we haven’t seen very often!

And guess what? Wolves play the Spurs again on Wednesday and on Sunday. Yay! It sucks being a Wolves fan. I love it.
